Est. the Frontier Year One
Freehold
Contracts, rumors & poor decisions.
Far away over the teeming seas and beyond the edge of any map there lies a vast nameless continent. There are no city lights to be seen on these dark shores, no woodsmoke rising over the unbroken forest canopy. Birdsong is the only music — except in the tiny frontier village of Freehold, a small spark of light clinging to the edge of this dark continent. Here firelight spills from the windows of the World's End Inn, and voices are raised in what passes for song in these parts.
This is where the bravest and most desperate adventurers go to wager their lives for fortune — to exchange hard-earned knowledge for gold and to plunder the bones of the ancient and unfathomable civilization whose remnants are scattered across the wilderness. Those who return come back with stories of fantastic beasts and breathtaking ruins. Tales of empty cities with buildings of unbreakable glass, pyramids larger than mountains, ancient temples to terrifying gods.
You are about to join the ranks of the intrepid souls claiming fortune and mapping out this uncharted land and uncovering the secrets it holds. Adventure begins with pulling up a stool at the bar in the World's End and calling the barkeep down for a pint of the bitter.
Welcome to Freehold, adventurer.
